100 Thousand Poets for Change

T.E.A. Factory, 580 Willow Street, Reading, PA

Every September, for the past three years, local poets and musicians have gathered in Reading to celebrate a day of international solidarity and hope for inspiring changing through spoken word and music.

On Saturday, September 28th from 1pm -7pm, poets and musicians will gather at the TEA Factory Co at 580 Willow St to perform their work. Past events brought together a diverse crowd joined by their love of spoken word. The poetry is raw, unedited and passionate. The setting is intimate and comfortable. Pot Luck style food is requested and byob. The event is free and open to the public.

This year’s lineup includes Craig Czury, Heather Thomas, Egedeme, Liz Stanley, Nur Alima, Noah Ayala, Michael London, and Lisa DeVuono. The stage is open to all who want a chance to read their work.

Poetry will be punctuated by musical performance. Suzanne and Dan and Dennis TwoShoes Schwartz are on the schedule.

Please let us know if you want to read your work or perform your songs. Acoustic style.

As always...Busking on the street outside the TEA Factory is welcome. The more the merrier!
